Green Carnival 2025: A Celebration of Sustainability, Community, and Conscious Living
At Fountainhead Global School, we believe that nurturing environmentally responsible citizens begins with meaningful experiences. This vision came to life during our vibrant Green Carnival, a joyful and purpose-driven celebration that brought together students, parents, staff, and the community to champion sustainable living.
Our campus was transformed into an energetic eco-zone, filled with student-led stalls showcasing innovative ideas for recycling, upcycling, and reducing waste. From creative eco-crafts to live demonstrations on composting, waste segregation, and water conservation, every display reflected the enthusiasm and dedication of our young learners. Their confidence in explaining these concepts impressed parents and visitors alike, proving that true learning happens when children connect knowledge with action.
A special highlight of this year’s event was the Peace Walk by Meedikunta Lake, where our students and teachers walked hand in hand to promote environmental mindfulness and community harmony. The serene surroundings of the lake served as a powerful backdrop, reminding everyone of the beauty and responsibility of protecting local ecosystems. The walk symbolised our collective commitment to preserving Meedikunta Lake and fostering a peaceful, cleaner environment.
Another proud moment was the presentation of the Green Frontier Awards—an honour bestowed upon individuals and organisations making remarkable contributions to environmental conservation. Among the awardees, we were privileged to recognise Uday Krishna Peddireddi for his impactful work and relentless efforts toward sustainable living. His inspiring presence encouraged students to believe that one dedicated individual can spark widespread change.
The Green Carnival was not just an event—it was a movement of awareness, unity, and hope. As the day concluded, one message echoed strongly: sustainable change begins with each of us. Together, as a community, we can protect our planet and inspire future generations to walk the path of responsibility and care.
